What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small files stored on your device. They help websites remember you and work better.
Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies (Required)
- session: Keeps you logged in. Without it, you'd need to login on every page. If you arrive through a Kikaye partner's link, it also holds that partner's code until you close your browser, so they are credited if you sign up. It is not shared with the partner or anyone else.
- csrf_token: Security token to prevent cross-site forgery attacks.
These are necessary for the service to work. You cannot disable them and still use Kikaye.
Cookies We Do NOT Use
- ❌ Analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, etc.)
- ❌ Advertising cookies
- ❌ Tracking pixels
- ❌ Third-party tracking
Third-Party Cookies
- Google Fonts: May set cookies when loading fonts from googleapis.com
- Stripe: May set cookies for payment processing
See their privacy policies for details.
How to Control Cookies
Your browser can control cookies:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy → Clear browsing data → Cookies
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Firefox: Preferences → Privacy → Cookies and Site Data
Warning: Disabling essential cookies will log you out and break the service.
