From HubSpot to running in ten minutes.

One subscription covers every app. One HubSpot connection feeds them all.

Getting started

  1. Create an account at kikaye.com/signup with Google or an email and password.
  2. Subscribe. £25 a month covers five people and every live app. Cancel within 14 days for a full refund.
  3. Connect HubSpot. Open Set up and press Connect HubSpot. HubSpot lists exactly what Kikaye can read and change before you approve. Only the account owner can connect.
  4. Open an app from Apps. You're signed in to each one automatically.

If you installed Kikaye from the HubSpot Marketplace, you'll be asked to sign in or create an account first, then brought straight back to finish connecting.

What Kikaye can access

Every permission below is used by at least one app. Kikaye writes to HubSpot only at the moment you take an action in an app; nothing writes on a schedule.

PermissionWhy
crm.objects.contacts.readCount people on HubDash boards; find contacts in HubRSVP and HubSubs.
crm.objects.contacts.writeOnly when you act: recording an RSVP or attendance in HubRSVP.
crm.schemas.contacts.readShow your real contact property names in setup dropdowns.
communication_preferences.readShow every subscription type a contact has, in HubSubs.
communication_preferences.writeOnly when you change a subscription in HubSubs.
crm.lists.readRoll list membership into HubDash totals.
crm.lists.writeOnly when you create an attendee list from HubRSVP.
crm.objects.deals.readHubDash sales and pipeline boards.
crm.schemas.deals.readPipeline and stage names for HubDash setup.
crm.objects.owners.readShow reps by name on the HubDash sales board.
crm.objects.companies.read (optional)Only if one company is one group on HubDash's headcount board.
crm.schemas.companies.read (optional)Company property names in HubDash setup dropdowns.
crm.objects.custom.read (optional)Enterprise only. HubRSVP events and HubDash group headcount.
crm.objects.custom.write (optional)Enterprise only. Linking contacts to events in HubRSVP.
crm.schemas.custom.read (optional)Enterprise only. Custom object names in setup dropdowns.

Your connection is encrypted at rest. Your CRM records stay in HubSpot: the apps read them live and keep only your settings and short-lived caches.

HubDash

Live boards for the office TV: group headcount against target, sales by rep, and your outreach funnel. HubDash never writes to HubSpot.

Needs: any HubSpot plan with deals for the sales and pipeline boards. The headcount board reads whichever object holds your groups: a custom object, or Companies if one company is one group. It works on any plan with that data.

  1. Open HubDash. It reads your portal and proposes a setup (which object holds your groups, your funnel stages, your pipelines), each with a reason.
  2. Confirm or change each choice, then preview the numbers before anything goes on the wall.
  3. Open the display in a web browser on your office TV or monitor (a smart TV browser, a streaming stick or a small computer plugged in). Boards rotate full screen and refresh themselves.

HubRSVP

RSVPs and attendance recorded against the contact in HubSpot, as association labels between contacts and your events.

Needs: HubSpot Enterprise, because events are stored as a custom object. Allow the optional custom object permissions when you connect.

  1. In HubRSVP's Configure tab, choose the custom object that holds your events.
  2. Tell HubRSVP which association labels mean confirmed, declined and waitlisted. It reads the labels already in your portal.
  3. Record RSVPs and attendance from the event view. Each change is written to HubSpot as you make it.
  4. Optional: create a HubSpot static list from any group of attendees.

HubSubs

Every email subscription type a contact has, on one screen, changed in one click.

Needs: subscription types set up in HubSpot (Settings → Marketing → Email → Subscription Types). Works on any HubSpot plan that has marketing email.

  1. Search a contact by name or email.
  2. Green pills are types they're subscribed to; a red badge counts types they've opted out of.
  3. Open a contact and switch any type on or off. The change is saved to HubSpot immediately, with a legal basis recorded.

In HubSubs settings you can relabel types (e.g. "Newsletter and Community" to "Newsletter") without changing anything in HubSpot.

Your team

Your subscription includes five people. Add teammates by email in Set up; each gets an invite link and uses your HubSpot connection, so they never need a key of their own. Extra people are £5 a month each, added and removed from the same screen.

Disconnecting and uninstalling

  • From Kikaye: Set up → Disconnect HubSpot. Every app stops reading your CRM immediately, Kikaye's access is revoked, and the app is uninstalled from your HubSpot account (HubSpot emails you to confirm).
  • From HubSpot: Settings → Integrations → Connected Apps → Kikaye → Uninstall. Kikaye notices on its next request and shows you as disconnected.
  • Deleting your data: email ash@kikaye.com. Account data is deleted within 30 days, as described in the Privacy Policy. Nothing in HubSpot is deleted.

Email ash@kikaye.com. A person reads every message.

Tell us your account email, which app, and what you expected to happen. A screenshot helps.
