How to keep a HubSpot page on an office TV running all day

Updated October 2026

Getting a page onto a TV is easy. Keeping it alive for months is the hard part: sessions expire, the screen sleeps, a browser update pops a message across the middle of the numbers. Here is a setup that lasts.

The hardware

  • A small computer or streaming device that stays on, plugged into the TV.
  • A wired network connection if you can. Wifi drops are the top cause of a frozen board.
  • Set the TV to turn on and off with your working hours, not to sleep by itself.

The browser

  1. Use a current browser and turn off automatic updates during working hours.
  2. Open the page in full-screen or kiosk mode so there are no tabs or bars.
  3. Turn off the screen saver, sleep and notifications on the device.
  4. Set the page to refresh itself on a timer, so a stale chart can't sit there for a week.

Staying signed in

A normal HubSpot login expires. On a shared screen, that means someone eventually walks up and types a password in front of everyone. Use a sign-in method that lasts, or a display that keeps its own connection.

When it breaks anyway

  • Keep the device's power and network easy to reach.
  • Put a restart on a schedule, early in the morning.
  • Give one person the job of glancing at it each day.
