What to put on a customer success dashboard in HubSpot

Updated October 2026

Customer success teams watch for things going wrong early: tickets piling up, customers going quiet, renewals coming. A good dashboard puts those three things in front of the team every morning.

The core five

  1. Open tickets, and how many are older than your target response time.
  2. Renewals due in the next 60 days, from deals or a renewal date property.
  3. Customers with no contact in a set number of weeks. The quiet ones.
  4. New customers still onboarding and how long they have been there.
  5. Satisfaction scores or survey replies this month, if you collect them.

Make it useful

  • Show counts first and names second. The wall shows "7 renewals due", the laptop shows who.
  • Colour by urgency, not decoration: red for overdue, amber for due soon, green for fine.
  • Assign each number an owner, so someone is responsible when it turns red.

Where the data comes from

  • Tickets: HubSpot's ticket pipeline, if you use it for support.
  • Renewals: a date property on the company or deal, filled in at signing.
  • Quiet customers: the "last contacted" or last activity date on the company.
