How to build a HubSpot dashboard for your weekly team meeting

Updated October 2026

The best team meeting dashboard answers one question at a time, in the order the conversation goes. If you need to scroll, click or explain a chart, the meeting is already slower than it should be.

The order that works

  1. Where are we against target? One number and a bar. Everything else is detail.
  2. What closed since last week? Deals won, by rep.
  3. What is likely to close next? Deals in the last stages with a close date this month.
  4. What is stuck? Deals with no activity in two weeks.
  5. What changed? New deals created and any lost, with reasons.

Rules for the layout

  • Six reports at most. If you add one, remove one.
  • Use the same time period everywhere, and say what it is in the title.
  • Prefer bars and single numbers to tables. Tables are for follow-up, not for the room.

Run the meeting from it

Open it at the start, go top to bottom, and write down only the actions. If a discussion needs a report that isn't there, note it and add it for next week, rather than hunting for it live.

Put it on the wall

A screen showing the same dashboard all week changes how people behave in between meetings. See keeping a HubSpot page running on an office TV.
