A HubSpot marketing dashboard worth putting on a screen

Updated October 2026

A marketing dashboard on a screen should answer one question for the people walking past: are we on track this week? Most marketing reports answer a different question, "what happened last quarter?", and belong in a meeting, not on a wall.

Five numbers for the wall

  1. New leads this week against the weekly goal. One number and a bar.
  2. Leads by source this month. A short bar chart, so people see what is actually working.
  3. Meetings or demos booked from marketing. The number sales cares about.
  4. Email sent last week and its reply or click rate. One line, not a table.
  5. Website visitors this week against last week. Only if it moves often enough to be interesting.

What to leave off

  • Impressions, followers and other numbers nobody can act on.
  • Anything that only changes monthly. A wall needs numbers that move.
  • Long tables of campaigns. Keep those for a laptop.

Building it in HubSpot

  1. Create the reports one at a time and save each to a single dashboard.
  2. Use the same time period on every one, and say which in the title.
  3. Check each number against a source you trust before it goes on a wall, because everyone will see a wrong one.

Getting it onto a screen

HubSpot's dashboards are built for a laptop. For a TV, see how to put a HubSpot dashboard on an office TV and how to keep it running all day.
